This session was a long time coming! So glad the weather was finally good and that I could finally meet little Sophia! She was full of spunk and to be honest, gave me a bit of worry that we were not going to get any photos of her. But she eventually warmed up to me and we got some adorable shots of her. I was so excited to photograph one of my favorite families last weekend! I was lucky to be able to document her first pregnancy and newborn portraits of their ADORABLE little boy Kaden. Now she’s about to have a baby girl and I couldn’t be happier for them!

I was literally jumping up and down doing a happy dance after this shoot for Bambaroos Children’s Boutique the other day! The models were darling and the headbands were yummy!! Some of the clothing the models were wearing was by Kait Emerson Designs. These clothes are DARLING in photoshoots! (Hint, Hint clients!!) Here are some of my favorites from the shoot!

When I first chatted on the phone with sweet little Avie’s mommy about their upcoming session, I could feel the excitement from her through the phone. And then when I met her the day of the session, I could really see just how excited she was for this day! Which got me even more pumped for their session!

Well I was right! Shannon ended up giving birth to a beautiful baby boy! Sweet little Jackson! He was PERFECT for me! Never cried once or woke up at all. And he only took one break to eat. I was drooling over his chubby little cheeks! He for sure gave me baby fever!

I had SO SO much fun with this family earlier this week! Everyone was so easy going and up for anything. When I arrived, I was concerned about the MASSIVE waves at the beach and warned everyone that they may get wet. Nobody cared-I LOVE that!!! Unfortunately, our time on the beach wasn’t long due to how high the tide was (the parking lot was flooded-just to give you an idea of how high it was!) AND all of the bulldozers kicking us off the beach! Oh well, we still got some amazing portraits of this wonderful Arizona family. Every year for the past 13 years of so, they rent the same condo right on the beach in Balboa. What a FUN family tradition!

I don’t have time for a ton of sneak peeks, so I’m going to make one HUGE post on what I’ve been working on just this week! I had my mini session event, newborn and maternity sessions all in one week. And let me tell you, I’ve got the CUTEST clients ever!!! I’m so lucky!

Sweet little Katie was baptized at the San Juan Capistrano Mission this past weekend. Since the whole family was together and all dressed up, they decided they would jump on the holiday card portrait a little early! I arrived after the ceremony to snap some great family shots of everyone. Doesn’t everyone look beautiful?

I was so excited to see this beautiful family again after a few years! I had the pleasure photographing this stunning mama while she was pregnant with adorable little Sienna and then again for her newborn portraits and later on with some family photos on the beach. I was so excited to meet their latest addition to their family: sweet little Brady. He just turned two and he’s so cute! Aren’t both of these kids super adorable?!?
