The last time I saw this family was earlier in the year when I photographed Tanith’s newborn session. Wow, time goes by so fast! She’s already 9 months old and the so happy!

Ok, seriously, how stinkin cute is little Jocelyn?!?! I wanted to take her home with me! I LOVE photographing this age! Babies are always so happy around 6-10 months. I got so. many. amaazing. photos of this family! I want to share them all, but this little sneak peek will have to do for now.

Sweet little Chloe was WIDE awake for just about the entire time I was there. But I did manage to get a few sleepy shots of her before I left.

I LOVE this family! Landon and I met Kaitlyn and her mommy way back when Landon & Kaitlyn were 18 months old in our Mommy & Me class. They became best buddies instantly. We continued our Mommy & Me classes until our second babies arrived (she had Gavin and I had Chloe, who are only weeks apart) So cool. I feel so lucky that we’ve got kids the same age who are all great friends. They are our Wahoo’s buddies too I *heart* this family!!

Our session got cut a little short when it DUMPED rain on us out of nowhere. (well kind of. the forecast predicted rain all day, but it didn’t start when it said, so I took a chance and moved up this session to try and beat the rain) Anyway, the rain clouds made for a super cool sky.

And I REALLY couldn’t decide which family photo I liked best. I think the black & white one at the top fit the storyboard better, but I also LOVE this one below! So cute!

Check out my cousin’s ADORABLE little man Gunner!!! He was such an angel at only 5 days old. This kid will be a super cool little rock star, just like his dad. Can’t wait to watch him grow up with my kiddos!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing some of my most favorite people in the whole world. My wonderful neighbors! We  have defantly found some life long friends with these two amazing families! All of our kids love each other and we’re truly like one big happy family whenever we get together.

Tuesday turned out to be a BEAUTIFUL night in Laguna Beach for Ann-Marie’s maternity session. I had a feeling that even though it was a cold, cloudy day at the beach, that the sun would peek out right before it set and give us some amazing light to work with!

A & C: I had a blast with you both and really enjoyed capturing the love you two have for one another. It clearly shows how in love you are and how excited you are to meet your baby! Hope you enjoy these! You are one beautiful mama to be. xo

It’s not fair that my kids are growing up so dang fast!! I tell my 4 (almost 5!) year old every day that he can’t turn 5 on his next birthday because I want him to be my baby boy forever and ever. Then he begs me to turn 5 on his next birthday It’s so cute! I tell him all the time that when he was a baby, he was soooo tiny! He was a preemie after all and I showed his how he used to fit in my arms and now when I hold him he stretches over 3 feet long in my arms! It’s crazy how fast kids grow.  I really can’t believe that Landon will be turning 5 in just a few short months (Jan to be exact) and that he will be starting Kindergarten next year! I think I will have a heart attack when next September rolls around. Good thing I have another year to prepare! And then my sweet little Chloe, she is growing so fast herself and quickly phasing out of the baby stage and into a big girl. She wants to do everything that her big brother does. Her favorite thing to do is chase him around the house (which almost always leads to a big scraped knee or busted lip). I’ve realized that I really need to stop and enjoy my kids in this stage because they really are only this little once. This business has been so crazy busy the last several months  that my poor kids have seen our sitter more than they have seen me on most days. Which breaks my heart. I’m working hard on finding an answer to the golden question of how to balance work and family. So please bare with me during this super crazy time of the year. I’m going to continue to get everyone’s sneak peeks, galleries, orders and emails sent as fast as I possibly can.
