I was literally jumping up and down doing a happy dance after this shoot for Bambaroos Children’s Boutique the other day! The models were darling and the headbands were yummy!! Some of the clothing the models were wearing was by Kait Emerson Designs. These clothes are DARLING in photoshoots! (Hint, Hint clients!!) Here are some of my favorites from the shoot!

This beautiful girl drove all the way down from Lake Havasu City to have me take her senior portraits! She was familiar with the area since her boyfriend is stationed nearby. Jessica was a PRO in front of the camera! And my camera loved her! She was up for anything and I was super excited when she told me she wanted to use a surfboard in some of her photos. This was a first for me and I’m thrilled at how they turned out! She looks like a little Roxy model.

Jessica: Thank you for choosing me to photograph your senior portraits! What an honor it was. Such an exciting time in your life right now and I wish you the best of luck! You are stunningly beautiful and I had a blast with you last week! Congratulations! I hope you enjoy your sneak peek! xoxo

When I first chatted on the phone with sweet little Avie’s mommy about their upcoming session, I could feel the excitement from her through the phone. And then when I met her the day of the session, I could really see just how excited she was for this day! Which got me even more pumped for their session!

A & D: Thank you so much for choosing me to document your very first family portraits! It’s truly an honor! Little Avie is SO yummy and you are such a beautiful family! You can really see the love you have for each other and what amazing parents you are to Avie. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek! xoxo

Well I was right! Shannon ended up giving birth to a beautiful baby boy! Sweet little Jackson! He was PERFECT for me! Never cried once or woke up at all. And he only took one break to eat. I was drooling over his chubby little cheeks! He for sure gave me baby fever!

S & J: What a pleasure it was to photograph adorable little Jackson yesterday! Thank you for allowing me to capture this special time in your lives! Hope you enjoy your sneak peek! xoxo

I had SO SO much fun with this family earlier this week! Everyone was so easy going and up for anything. When I arrived, I was concerned about the MASSIVE waves at the beach and warned everyone that they may get wet. Nobody cared-I LOVE that!!! Unfortunately, our time on the beach wasn’t long due to how high the tide was (the parking lot was flooded-just to give you an idea of how high it was!) AND all of the bulldozers kicking us off the beach! Oh well, we still got some amazing portraits of this wonderful Arizona family. Every year for the past 13 years of so, they rent the same condo right on the beach in Balboa. What a FUN family tradition!

K and the entire clan: You have such beautiful families! THANK YOU for an evening of fun! I hope you all had as much fun as I did! And I hope you enjoy the sneak peek!! xoxo

PS: LOVED everyone’s bright colors! Looks awesome!

S & J: I had an absolute BLAST with you two at our session! I can’t wait to meet your sweet little baby! Shannon: you are STUNNINGLY beautiful! Keep rockin’ that belly of yours. xoxo

I don’t have time for a ton of sneak peeks, so I’m going to make one HUGE post on what I’ve been working on just this week! I had my mini session event, newborn and maternity sessions all in one week. And let me tell you, I’ve got the CUTEST clients ever!!! I’m so lucky!

My beautiful little cousin flew all the way out here from Iowa for me to take her Senior Portraits. She was so excited to get her photos taken at the beach. Too bad she is already leaving today to go back home and I’m so sad that I didn’t get to spend more time with her. I’ll have to make sure I get out to Iowa this fall, as fall is my FAVORITE time of year and here in CA, it’s still so hot in October and sometimes even into November. I’m dying to do a shoot there in the fall. Hmmm…maybe I should do some fall sessions out in Iowa. Anyone interested??

Kelli: I had SO much fun with you at your session! I hope you love your sneak peek! Have a safe trip home and I hope to see you all soon! xoxo

PS: Doesn’t she look like Tiffani Amber Thiessen?? (from Saved by the Bell)

Sweet little Katie was baptized at the San Juan Capistrano Mission this past weekend. Since the whole family was together and all dressed up, they decided they would jump on the holiday card portrait a little early! I arrived after the ceremony to snap some great family shots of everyone. Doesn’t everyone look beautiful?

I had SO much fun last night with Ann & Craig! You can tell how much these two are in love. They are such a beautiful couple and boy does Ann know how to work the camera! I can’t wait to see her on her wedding day!

Ann & Craig: How’s this for your super quick sneak peek? I had a blast with you two and I seriously can not wait to photograph your wedding this fall! Congratulations again! xoxo
